Job Description
Belga Cafe - popular, chef driven, very busy casual dining restaurant in Capitol Hill (Eastern Market metro station), is hiring FULL TIME AND PART TIME SERVERS
A vibrant atmosphere modeled after Brussel's casual cafes, Belga Cafe is the ORIGINAL Belgian restaurant in Washington, DC. Opened in 2004, the neighborhood locale on Capitol Hill is known for its authentic cuisine, and extensive wine & beer selection.

Patio season is open, we are looking for servers during the mornings on Saturday and Sunday, our brunch is very popular.

Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer services
Greet customers and present menus
Make suggestions based on their preferences
Take and serve food/drinks orders
Up-sell when appropriate
Arrange table settings
Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
Deliver checks and collect payments
Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
